Justin and Lindsay Cole have been a real blessing to work with in our rental cabin buisness.  Anyone who owns a vacation rental knows that finding reliable cleaners is one of the harder parts of running the business.  For the past five or so years, Lindsay and Justin have done a very nice job of cleaning our cabin.  In that time we've not had one guest call us to let us know that the cabin had not been cleaned when they arrived-something that happened more than once with previous cleaners.  We get compliments on how clean the cabin is.  Our cabin has almost all 5 star reviews from our guests.  A big part of that is the appearance of the cabin.  Justin and Lindsay are honest, reliable, and easy to work with.  I highly trust and recommend them.

Our family vacation was super. Our cabin was just as advertised and we so appreciated the owner’s copies of things he emailed to us ahead of our stay. I messaged him once and he got back to me within minutes! We had a wonderful stay and I would definitely rent from anything Johnny and Vickie Duke had listed! We ranged in age from my 89 year old father to my 5 month old granddaughter! We saw bears on our stay and Elk a short distance away. 5 stars from us all around.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Beary Chic Chalet! It was perfect for our family of 5 and so convenient. Close to the park and downtown, but far enough out that you could relax and enjoy the incredible views. The home was very clean! Check-in was smooth and the security system Is a nice plus.

The best air b&b we have stayed in to date!! As others have described the space is beautiful and super clean! Although there are neighboring chalet/cabins you never once feel exposed..Super private .. outstanding views and the hot tub was super clean and relaxing !! I never used the hot tubs at other places .. they always seem grimey!! This one was super clean and so relaxing to sit in and enjoy the view !! Very close to downtown Gatlinburg and hiking trails ! Really enjoyed our stay and so will you !

The cabin was just as described, if not better. It was very clean, beautifully decorated, very easy to get to and the location was perfect. It afforded us privacy but had a community feel at the same time. The kids loved all of the games provided and having a space to call their own. All of the beds were very comfortable and we appreciated having Netflix access. The kitchen had anything and everything we needed to prepare meals and the washer and dryer were such a blessing. We enjoyed both the hot tub and the swimming pool. Mrs. Dianne was so friendly and helpful all along the way, from booking to checkout. We can’t wait to visit again. 5/5 stars, highly recommend!

Wow! Dianne's cabin was impeccably clean and still had that new cabin smell! Nice linens, high quality furniture, ample lighting and ceiling fans, huge TVs, and so many fun games! We hardly left the cabin because everyone was so comfy and entertained. It was more spacious than we expected, and the pictures really don't do it justice. It is modern, tastefully decorated, and SO CLEAN. The notes explaining how to operate things were so helpful. Also, the video that Dianne sends to clarify the cabin's location was a huge help! All of these little, thoughtful touches added up to an outstanding experience.

We are so spoiled that we'll never be able to go back to a run-of-the-mill cabin after staying here.

Clean! Clean! Clean! This cabin is wonderful. It’s super clean and feels like home. The heated toilet seats are the amenity you didn’t even know you (Website hidden by Airbnb) awesome! Diane has thought of everything, even a baby gate for the stairs. It’s a beautiful cabin, with comfy beds and enough rocking chairs on the balcony that everyone can rock. We can’t wait to come back!

They came out upon a moments' notive to repair a water line leak.  They installed flooring and ceilings professionally and on time.  Justin's ideas and insights were invaluable.  The tongue and groove wood paneling he suggested was quite an upgrade from the drywall ceiling.  I was shocked at the difference.  The cabin looks brand new! What a special property and a real treat to stay at the Smokey Mist Chalet! My husband, family and I absolutely LOVED the chalet. Very charming curb appeal, clean, comfortable and up-to-date furnishings make this property a joy to stay at, not to mention the very comfortable beds, bedding and plush towels. My Mom's chronic back pain actually disappeared during our stay at the chalet! The ambiance of the chalet is so cozy and appealing we wished we had more time to stay.

The property that surrounds the chalet is beautiful and the view from the deck is stunning. There are other properties in the area but a good amount of room between neighbors so you don't have the "fishbowl" feeling like some vacation properties have. The main living area has a good number of large windows for great natural lighting and opportunity to take in all of the beautiful and verdant scenery.

The location is great; not too far to beautiful waterfalls/hikes in the Great Smokey Mountain National Park, all kinds of tourist attractions and close to amenities and wonderful Mom and Pop artesian shops. Such a delightful place to stay and we highly recommend the Smokey Mist Chalet!!!

Smoky Mist Chalet is absolutely the best VRBO property we have rented in every way. The owner immediately answered any questions we had and was very helpful in providing vacation information for the Gatlinburg and Smoky Mountain Park areas. The house was absolutely spotless, well stocked and very cozy. We enjoyed eating breakfast sitting on the deck watching the sunrise behind the mountains. Perfect location and with 3 bedrooms this chalet could comfortably accommodate 6 guests. We are in our 60’s but became addicted to the shuffleboard game in the bedroom with the twin beds! The fireplace in the living room below the tv made for a great night watching the Chiefs game!

When you book online there is always some hope that what you think you booked is what you're really going to get. This property exceeded all expectations and then some. There is so much to do at the house to entertain and have fun.

For our group, we had three families -- a total of 14 people. You're in Wears Valley, which is even better because you're not jammed down in the heavy tourist area. You can get to most locations through Townsend vs. going through the heavy trafficked area, which was really nice. It's a great location to explore the Smokey Mountains and then retreat back to the property.

We grilled every night. Grilling from that location has to be one of my favorite experiences. Absolutely gorgeous sunsets! The property had everything we needed and then some. We always had plenty to do and the 8 kids were always running around playing. We were visited by a few black bears, which was really cool, especially because were on the top deck vs. the bottom deck. We did feel threatened and the bear seemed like it could care less we were even at the house.

The drive up to the house isn't for the faint of heart but it's well worth it when you get to the top. We did a lot of grocery shopping on the way to checking in, which served us very well. You don't want to be searching for grocery stores. Spend your time exploring. The place has all the kitchen and setup you could possible need. Two ovens, dishwashers, and fridges, made this very easy for 14 people.

Justin was our onsite contact. He was awesome. We needed something or had a question, he was on it. Super responsive and helpful.

My favorite part of this property was the ability to see the amazing sunsets and then wake up to an amazing sunrise. You get to see both during the time of year and how the house is setup on the mountain.

We will definitely be back. Thanks for Parisa and Justin for all your help. We appreciate you sharing this wonderful place with us.

Great cabin for family & friends to get together. Lots of space for everyone. Great views and the road to get there was great & much better than most to get to a cabin like this one. Cabin was very clean and was stocked with everything you could need. We did have a bear come into the deck but with no food to eat quickly left. Look forward to staying here again on our next trip.

We had a terrific time staying at this chalet. The views were as described...beautiful. The chalet was spacious and accommodating for my family of seven. The location is beautiful and we were able to see bears 🐻 which was a bonus. Tara was friendly and very easy to deal with. We would definitely recommend to anyone to stay here. The big kitchen table is great for games and meals and the hot tub felt great after a long day of shopping. There's even a small general store minutes away for those last minute items we forgot. Love! Love! Love!

The only thing that made us grumpy at the Grumpy Grizzly was having to leave. We enjoyed our stay and had a great experience. Everything was just as described. Even some surprise extras. The beds were comfortable. Nothing negative to say!! We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to the area.

There were four of us in our party and the cabin was perfect. We each had our own floor complete with a Jacuzzi on one end of the bedroom and the regular tub/shower in the bathroom. There are also 2 half baths. Each of us had our own deck and the game room on the lower level was great. They thought of every little extra you could want. We ate all of our meals out but the kitchen was very well stocked. Highly highly recommend.

We had been locked down in Michigan for a year. When the opportunity to return to the Smokies became a possibility, we started looking for the perfect cabin. The profile of the Grumpy Grizzley seemed to have everything we were looking for. Upon walking through the front door we could instantly tell this was going to be our best cabin in the Smokies yet. The decorating, layout, amenities and cleanliness were a 10. Other than we came for our love of the mountains, there was never a good reason to leave the cabin. This was a great cabin to stay in. It was very clean and very nicely decorated. The beds were very comfy. Walt was always a phone call or text away! My only complaint was it was in the middle of season change where it was hot during the day and cold at night, and the thermostat was locked and we had to keep asking for it to be changed from heat to air or vise versa. Overall it was a great stay and we would stay with this cabin rentals again!!

The cabin was wonderful. Beautifully decorated and very clean. Had pretty much everything we needed. The location is great for access to the strip, but is in a very cabin dense area. This cabin still feels pretty private considering. Wished I had more time to enjoy this cabin! The two seperate suites and plenty of bathrooms made this place great for multiple couples.
